Hard to believe Canada's position on climate change!
I am so choked after listening to Harper drone on and refuse to take responsibility on action on climate change... I can't be bothered to reiterate his position and most of you are likely aware of it anyhow. If not, and if you are interested, it is all over the papers and tv and radio news-or Google Commonwealth conference on climate change. Harper refused to agree to commit to a resolution requiring developed countries to agree to binding commitments....Harper wanted ALL countries to be equally bound. A nice theory but let's recognize the reality. Sad that Canada seems to be slipping further and further into an environmentally unfriendly policy stance. While the rest of the world seems to be getting closer to moving in the right direction. No wonder the Green Party of Canada has recently made significant gains in the poles....
